I am searching for info on my paternal line....James Dowling & Kathryn Pierce of Philadelphia, Pa. Their daughter, Gertrude Marie, was my grandmother, b. in 1890s in Philly.
I think James may have been a butcher. Kathryn died in a fire involving cleaning products, maybe naptha??? or so my uncle tells me.
Anyone info would be greatly appreciated!
