Hello, my gggranfather's name was Littleberry, his son of my line was Alexander Hamilton Dowell whose son Alzonzo was the dad of my grandfather,Cecil Dowell who is the dad of my dad Iveory Lee Dowell, I am his eldest daughter Toni Lee and I have a son named Tanis Lee. I have that Littleberry was wed three times---1)Elizabeth Adkinson 2)Rachel Sipes and 3)Sarah Payne I have more info as well if you'd like it. I have that Littleberry's dad was Micajah1764-1848 son of George1728-1772 son of Thomas1705 Surrey Co, Va son of William b1683. I end there with no other info on William,but, on Thomas I have a wife Elizabeth 1706 of Bedford, VA and I have the names of their children 1. George 2.James 3.William 4.Francis 5. Jeremiah 6Nehemiah 7John and 8Thomas Jr. On George I hace that he wed Margaret 1741-1808 I have 8 kids on them. On Micajah I have he wed Francis Meador1756 Bedford VA I have 11 kids on them.
On Littleberry I have his 3 wives and 9 kids. His son Alexander Hamilton Dowell was my ggreatgrandad was wed twice 1) Francis Mccoy 2)Georgia Adkinson 7 kids. One was my greatgrandad Alonzo who wed Olivia Teby Stith with 5 kids listed. My granddad Cecil(his son) was married twice 1)Louise Minner and to my grandmother 2) Cora Berry there were 4 sons. I also have a half uncle by Cecil off of my grandmother's sister.5 sons from Cecil Dowell then my Dad Iveory Lee Dowell wed Evelyn Milam had one son and three daughters (I am one of course.)
