Hello Beverly:

Your James Taylor Dowell was the son of Nehemiah & Jane Dowell Dowell. Nehemiah was son of Micajah and Jane the dau of Elijah Dowell (Brothers) They were the sons of George Dowell, the son of Thomas C. and he the son of William Dowell.

I have you as the wife of James Adrain Sandefur and he the son of Oscar. Is this correct?

Cynthia Robbins was the dau of Eli Robbins and Elizabeth Hanks.....Elizabeth may be some relation to Abe Lincoln through the Hanks.
