The Geo. W. Dowell you are researching is my
wife's g-grandfather. I have had no luck in confirming his connection to the other Dowells in the area (but I have a lot of circumstantial evidence). I have a lot of information on this man though if you wish to share information. Which one of his children are you descended from?
