We have a George Alexander Dowell (1858-1936) in Mason County, W.Va. who was married to Lena M. Saunders on 5-15-1890 in Gallia County, Ohio (Next to Mason County). Her mother is listed as Sarah M. Saunders on marriage record. If this is your George, we can provide lots of information. He remarried to Nancy Hill and they are my great grand parents.
