Mike, I am descended from Elvin Dowell, John Jackson's brother. I believe their mother was Elizabeth Travelstreet (not Street). Elizabeth and John Dowell were married in 1811/12 (Warren Co. Records). I have names of children of John Jackson if you don't have them. John Jackson is buried in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Allen Co., Ky. Do you have any info on Elvin Dowell and wife Elizabeth Huntsman? Do you know where John Dowell (father of John Jackson) was born or who his parents were?
