My grandfather was Morda Wilson Dowell born 1887, Allen County Kentucky (married to Beulah Violette (born 189l in Sumner County,Tenn. , daughter of SamViolette of Providence,
Kentucky and Moetta Riggsbee b. Sumner Cty. Tenn). Morda's father was Robert Coleman Dowell (believed drowned or shot in 1898 in Mt. Vernon, Indiana) who was married to Mattie Lovelace, b. 1868, and who left him for another man. Does anyone have information regarding this line?
