Judy,

What is your line of descent from "Ole St. Nick" to Joshua or other Wilkes/Rowan Dowells? I have had a difficult time linking the Surry Co.,NC Dowells with the Wilkes/Rowan Dowells. The Surry Dowells came from Anne Arundel Co, MD and were descendants of Philip Dowell.
