My interest is with John Dowell and Juliet Hamilton who may have married in VA. late 1700's or early 1800's. Their lineage may include another Juliet Hamilton who married a William Gaines who married in Anderson County, Ky. in 1851. They had two daughters, Lucy Ann (my ancester who married a William M. Moreland) and Polly Ann. Most lived in the Anderson County, Kentucky area and may be descendants from VA. (Juliet has many different spellings.) I have lots of info and would love to share.
