Dowell and Deal/Diehl/Dill and Glodfelter to Greene Co. OH from MD and PA

I am seeking information on Philip Dowell's family of MD b 1681 m. to Mary Tydings. The line descends to John Dowell, b. 1766 in MD. John moved to Greene Co. Ohio, probably between 1811-1816 as he is in the 1820 census. I need to find the connection between Philip(and possibly Philip Jr. Dowell)down to John Dowell. I recently had DNA results linking my family to Philip Dowell and the MD to VA Dowell line.

John first married in MD OR VA to an unknown, and had four children: Jane, Elizabeth, John, and Sarah. John's second marriage was to Anna(Leah?)Deal/Diehl/Dill b. 1797. I'm not sure if he married in MD,VA, or OH, but I think OH. John and Ann/Anna's children were Jacob Loyd, George, Thomas G, and Margaret Ann. I think also that "Casper" may have been one of their children, as he was mentioned in "Robinson's History of Greene Co., OH." Previously we had not been able to place Casper in the family. However, "Casper" is a name closely associated with the Swiss Glattfelder line.

Anna Deal's mother, I believe, is Maria Magdelena Glattfelder/Glotfelter/Glotfelty/Glodfelter b. 1767 in PA. Maria's father was Solomon Glattfelder/Glotfelty b. 1738 Zurick, Switzerland. Solomon's father was Casper Glattfelder b. 1709 in Switzerland. There is a John and Adam Glodfelter living in Beavers Creek, Greene Co., Ohio in the 1830 census.

Anna's father is an unknown Deal/Diehl/Dill of Greene Co., Ohio.I would love to know the name of the Deal (or variation of the name) that married Maria Magdelena Glattfelder/Glodfelter. He was of Greene Co., OH. There is a Solomon, Frederick, and Gideon Dill living in Caesars Creek, Greene, OH in the 1820 and 1830 census. John Dowel/Dowell is also found in this 1820-1830 census. Please let me know if you have any information on these lines. Thank you, my email is colmall@msn.com
