The migration pattern of my great great-grandfather, Peter C. DOWELL is very similar to that of your Peter DOWELL. Mine moved (with father Peter) from Surry Co., NC to Henry Co., IN in the early 1830s and on to Daviess Co., MO. Any possibility this line crosses with yours back in NC or MD?
