I am a decendent of Richard Melvin Dowell of Macon Co.,NC.
I have been told that Richard Melvin married a Julie or Julia Parton
I have him to have had four children. They are Will, John, Dora & William Harvey born July 11, 1872 Macon Co, NC
Died Aug 14, 1944 Waco, McLennan, Texas.
William Harvey m Mary Elizabeth Stephens in TX Aug 1897.
Had 11 children one of which was my grandmother. I have lots of info on her line but have not done to much on his line. Hope that we can connect things up. I do have photos of William Harvey and young family and what I belive to be two of his sisters. But I don't have the other girls name.
