Not sure where Harvey comes into the picture I see a posting you made a couple of years ago with the name Susan (Maude). If you are talking about a Maude Dow b. 1884 - she is from the line you began to outline here. Her husband is given as Arthur Harlow. There are other Susans and Maudes, and a number of Harveys - but not descended from Joseph.

According to The Book of Dow (the contents of the book should not be assumed accurate, but should be used as a possible clue), Joseph b. 1688 had only 2 sons - Samuel, and John. The Maude I mentioned, is descended from John.

If you can provide me a little more to go on, (you gave just the names Dow and Harvey, but no associated dates or places) I would gladly check the book for you.
