no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
"The Book of Dow" was printed in 1929, and is the genealogical memoirs of the descendants of Henry Dow 1637, Thomas Dow 1639 and others of the name, immigrants to America during Colonial Times. Also the allied family of Nudd. It was written, compiled, and edited by Robert Piercy Dow of Laguna Beach CA, and Claremont NH.
That is the description taken verbatim from the title page. The book is over 1000 pages, and covers about 30,000 names. It has biographical information on many Dows - but in many places is not well sourced. Accuracy is not known, but it is a good source of leads for anyone researching Dows, and a good read for anyone interested in the history of these branches of Dows.
