Hi Ann

I first researched my Dow family years ago (pre internet).

One of the things I plan for this winter is to go back and see if I need to do more and check for things I may have missed.

Without checking I think the James Dow you have born 1761 in NS(he was not born NS but the age looks right) was the father of the James Dow that came to Lubec for a time and then lived in the Machiasport/East Machias area.
