I finally found the link that I have been searching for.
A great site is http://books.google.com . Then google by surname or place, then book by book check out all the pages brought up. Persistance does pay off!!

Located in the Genealogical and Family History of the State of Maine, pg 1058.

MARY JANE DOW is the 7th of 10 children of Jonathan Dow (1773 Rye, NH - 1834 Searsport, ME) and Mary J "Polly" Black (1778 Rumney Marsh, now Chelsea, MA. - d prob in ME)

JONATHAN DOW pedigree: John, Noah, Simon jr, Simon sr, Capt Henry, Immigrant Henry.

MARY J BLACK pedigree: d/o Henry Black & Sarah Stowers, grand-daughter of Immigrant John Black, Ireland born and his first wife, unk.
