I do have some information on Bertha Dow's lineage. Here is what I have on Harry and Bertha:

1. HARRY C.1 FURSE was born June 8, 1875 in Millwood, Ohio, and died July 31, 1941 in Alma, Nabraska. He married BERTHA EVELYN DOW June 8, 1898, daughter of HERBERT DOW and RHODA SIMPSON. She was born June 1876.
Notes for HARRY C. FURSE:
Published Harlan County Journal in Alma. Harry's parents are both from England per 1900 census.
Harry C Furse is in the 1900 Harlan County NE census with wife Bertha W, son Myre D, and Harry's brother Frank.

Bertha is descended from Herbert B. Dow and Rhoda Elizabeth Simpson, both originally of Richland County, Wisconsin. I can provide more information about both the Dow and Simpson family if you like. I am descended from Frank Wesley Dow, Bertha's brother. Frank Wesley moved along with Herbert to Alma Nebraska in the early 1880s and I still have some family in the area.
