Yes I've seen the Book of Dow..but it's rather vague that far back and, in fact, wasn't able to say where Thomas sailed from.

Another source..Geocities..takes this dow line back to 1495 in the village of Runham and Tyler, Co Norfolk, England.

This source on Geocities website says contrary to Book of Dow, that athough Henry was first to arrive, he was the younger brother of Thomas. Both men came from Runham...or so it suggests.

Anyway..maybe you have another source? I'd be interested to find out more..
