This is what the Book of Dow has:
Julette (census, Jabette b. 1835) m. _____ Andrus. The 1850 Enosburg VT census has Benjamin Dow farmer - wife Deborah b. Vt. Author doubts birthplace of Deborah. A grandson had reported her name as Deborah Gilman. Benjamin had a wood working shop in Buffalo ME and moved to Vermont presumably to be nearer a supply of birch wood. The author is however guessing in placing Benjamin as son of Benjamin Dow and Dorothy Connor of Gilmanton - since they disappeared from the records - and he is suggesting they may have moved to ME and had a son Benjamin. He admits this is a pure guess.
