Daniel and Hannah Douglass of Voluntown, New London, Connecticut late 1700's

Slowly, slowly, I'm creeping back through the years...and today a breakthrough!

My gggrandfather was Henry Douglass, born 1838 in Michigan.
His parents were Daniel Douglass, b May 1, 1806, and Emeline Pickett who married in Walworth, Wayne, New York on Oct 27, 1831.
Daniel's parents were Daniel and Hannah Douglass from Voluntown, New London, Connecticut. Emeline Pickett's family came from there, too, I believe.

Does anyone know anything about Daniel Douglass' family?
