I don't have any information on Prudence Douglass, but there is a mention of Samuel Douglass Jr. in the History of Mason, NH.
He is listed from Raby (now Brookline) and married Sarah Seaver (also of Raby) on Jan 26, 1792 by Rev. Ebenezer Hill.Their location is listed as Mile Slip.
Sarah Seaver was born July 25, 1790 in Raby, NH and died Sept 22, 1829 in Wilton, Hillsborough County, NH.
Samuel was the son of Capt. Samuel Douglass from Scotland.I have further information on this line, but don't see any mention of Prudence in my notes.
I am also researching Douglass' in New Hampshire.Specifically, I am interested in Douglass' from the New Boston area such as William and Daniel in the late 1700's, early 1800 timeframe.Am also looking into a possible connection with Douglass' from Londonderry/Hudson/Salem.
Thank you
