I have just received word that my book, Cambell Station, Its Place in Time, with be published November 22, 2009. If you are a descendant of Jonathan Douglas, Jr., you might be interested in this book since he and his family were one of the settlers of this station. The book is the result of three plus years of research and writing. it contains background history of the forming of early Tennessee; the settling of Campbell Station; short biographical sketches of the six families who settled the station; numerous treaties and petitions of the early settlers; plus an Epilogue relating events that occurred in the community after Tennessee beecame a state. In addition, it has an index that includes the names of hundreds of early settlers who were inhabitants during those formative years. You can email me for further information.
