Searching for the family of Oliver and Elenor Douglas of Steuben Co., NY. They were in the 1830 Census of the town of Wheeler? All their children were born there. Oliver and Elenor were married Feb. 3, 1823 in Italy Hollow, NY. Their daughter Mary Jane was recorded as being born in Shirley Twp., Yates Co., NY in 1827. Other Children were Ledran 1823, Abigail 1825 married Mr. Makinzie? Benjamin T. b 1829, Elenor b. abt. 1835 and Asa O. b. abt 1839. Shortly after Asa, they moved to Scrubgrass Twp., Venango Co., PA They were there for the 1840 Census. Most of this information is taken from Asa O.'s military record when his parents tried to get a pension.
I am looking for Oliver's family in New York and his wife's maiden name. They are both buried here in Rockland, Venango Co., PA
