James Douglas(s) (unknown middle ? name) came to NY at about 16 with ???? ...b. May 1, 1812 Kelton, Castle Douglas, Scotland. Naturalized 1862 age 50. (no middle name on papers) August 1874 graduated Ellectic (sp) Medical School, Albany, NY d. March 11, 1889 West Troy, NY (I need obituary !!!!!) buried in Albany Rural Cemetery Lot 304 Sec. 105 - no other information on lot card and no further information from cemetery office.
Married: Dec. 24, 1836 in Rochester,NY to Elizabeth Anna Hosford b.about 1822 in New Canan, CT (her parents?) d. Feb. 22, 1891 West Troy, NY buried in Albany Rural Cemetery Lot 304 Sec. 105 - no other information of lot card and no further information from cemetery office.
I have a small obit I found on the internet that says:
"Douglass, Elizabeth - 22 Feb. 1891. DOUGLASS - In West Troy, Feb. 22, 1891, Mrs. Elizabeth Douglass, relict of the late Dr. James Douglass, age 69 years. Funeral from her late residence, No 2, 342 Broadway, Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Friends and acquaintances are respectfully invited to attend."
I have 9 children born to them.

1880 Census District 4, West Troy shows James Douglas age 68-occupation Patent Medicines and Elizabeth Anna Douglas age 56 occupation keeping house.
