William DOUGLAS Ararat Victoria 1860s/70s??????

Seeking any information about my great-great-grandfather William DOUGLAS (born Lowick England in 1816) who was living in the Ararat area during the 1860s and possibly 1870s. He had been a miner living at Ballaarat Victoria in the 1850s. His wife Isabella died aged 32 at Ballaarat in 1856. William had a son Thomas (born 1846) and a daughter Helen (known as Ellen) (born 1850). William was probably a farmer at Ararat but there is some suspicion he may have worked as a Painter & Paper Hanger. Any information or even photos of these people would be fantastic. Perhaps a distant cousin is out there?? Thank you Rob Bell, Victoria, Australia
