My wife was a Doughty before marriage, her grandfather was Charles Edward Doughty (1881-1916). Married in Heckington, Lincs, died Londonthorpe Lincs. His Father was Thomas Doughty and he died 1900. He had another son called Thomas who was born 1882 and is buried in Great Hale, Lincs.
