First it is not a book but a collection os family notes.

Like Lela Doughtie b Bertie Co., N.C. 26 jan 1881 married John William Holloman b 1843 Hertford Co., N.C. m about 1890.

William Thomas Taylor b 1 Mar 1837, Harrellsville, NC. d 11 May 1921 Herford Co, NC. buried 12 May 1921 Home Place Church, near Christian Harbor Church. His father was Isaac Taylor Jr. m Mary Mitchell {I find it to be Mary Mitchell Nowell}(William had a second wife, Celia E. Saunders b abt 1842, d 6 Jan 1921, Longview Hosp, Suffick, Va.)died of general old age. Occupation - Farming. 84 years 2 months 11 days old.

Lucy Maloan b 26 Nov. 1839 Tennessee, d 26 Feb., 1889 Harrellsville, Hertfort Co, NC. They married 22 Dec 1859. Her father was Eli Maloan, mother Manaan ??.

Lucy Maloan was daughter of Eli Maloan who was a captain of a boat from Tenn. Eli was taken sick and died leaving 2 daughters who went to live with the Askew family. Celia (second wife) wwas the daughter of Nathaniel and Sophia Farless Saunders.

William and Lucy show 11 children. 8 were still alive July 4th 1925. The 11th says male Dempsey Taylor (slave) b 13 Jan, 1849. Mary Arwester is the #2 child listed.

William Thomas was a pvt Company D 17th Reg North Carolina Infantry (State Troops) Confederate enlisted Feb 20, 1862

Isaac Taylor Jr's father shown to be Isaac Taylor Sr. b ?? d about 1835 m to a Mary ??
Taken from will recorded in Hertford County and Hillary Taylor Bible. (Hillary #6 child of Isaac Taylor Sr. and Mary ??
