I am searching for a Richard Doughty, who might be the son of Edward and Ann Collins Doughty. My Richard might have married a Catherine?. My Richard had a son Robert born in Ohio about 1817. Robert married a Lydia Adams on August 21,1836. Richard signed the licence because Lydia was his foster daughter when they married. They were living in Indainapolis, Indiana. Richard died February 11, 1839 in Indianapolis and left no widow.
Can anybody help???? I need to know who Richard married and who his parent are for sure.
