This is my Doughty line...however there are several mistakes being perpetuated....The Rev. D's mother was a Barker, and his wife Bridgette was NOT a Stone. That mistake came about because Francises 2nd wife 's sister was the wife of Gov. Stone of Md., who referred to Francis as his brother in law. Ssomeone saw that and thought it must mean that Gov. stone was Francis's wife's brother...but he wasn't. The s
Stone family is well documented and it does NOT contain a Bridgett. I have much info on these folks...documented.
