James Doughty, b before 1745. Served in Rev War as a Loyalist. Possibly was from South Carolina. Had at least one son, Joseph b. 1765. Both moved to Canada in 1780s with promise of land grant after the war. Wife's name and other children are unknown. If you have a James with a Joseph from this time period, please email me.
