Hi, Lloyd. I have only gone back as far as c1745 to old Reuben Doughty, who d. c1820
in TN. His history and his wife are not known to me. He first appeared on the Tax List for Loudoun Co Va in 1782. Had sons: William, Benjamin, Reubin, Jr., James, ROBERT and George. Benjamin and George went early to TN; James, Robert and George to Fauquier. Robert
also resided Frederick Va before appearing in Wilson Tn c1827. Robert had sons, b. VA: William, Lorenzo m. Sarah Cooksey, and [possibly James?]; daus:Matilda and Lucinda. Robert is unaccounted for between years 1820-Frederick VA and 1827 when he appears in Wilson Tn. Possible he ventured into either Ohio or Kentucky?

Anything look familiar? Will share.

LaDoris
