There is a large group of DOUGHTY's located
on the Eastern shore of Virginia near EXMORE.
Their ancestry arrived from England @1624.
"John" was a popular first name among their
descendents.
As for myself, I descended through my Catholic father and mother: FRANK DOUGHTY
and MARY CLARE McBREEN of County CAVAN, IRELAND.
