Have a Kate STEEL b: 1857 in Philadelphia, PA who married Mr. Doughty; they stayed in PA. Parents were Edwin R. STEEL (1827-1882) and Mary Jane HARLAN STEEL, d: 1909.
Trying to piece together Kate's siblings and any information on her and her husband Mr. Doughty. Living in PA when she received letter from father, Capt. STEEL in San Francisco, CA. Family in shipping business.
