Hello,

Would like to share information with anyone
with information on Maine Doughty's.

My ancestor was Thomas Doughty, b. abt 1630
prob. in Scotland. Was sent to Boston after
1630 as prisoner of war. Settled in Saco,
Maine and d. 1705 at Salem, Mass.

My line moved to Falmouth by 1716, then to
Brunswick and Topsham, Maine during the mid-1700's.

David DOUGHTY m. Sarah GETCHELL abt 1742 at
Falmouth.

I'm descended from their son, John, who
married Martha Mallett at Brunswick, ME, 1772.
