Christopher's eldest daughter was Mary Elizabeth Doughty bapt 24.02.1816 All Saints, Wood Norton. She had two illegitimate sons William Gill Doughty bapt 29.06.1834 and Thomas Gill Doughty bapt 25.09.1836.
William Gill Doughty's occupation was-Shoe & Boot Maker
Thomas Gill Doughty's occupation was-Ag. Labourer and later he became a Farm Bailiff.
Both spent their entire lives in Wood Norton.
The 10-12 year gap that I mentioned on Friday was not by the above brothers but by two of Thomas Gill Doughty's sons.
Could you please tell me about William's son Charles Doughty born 1885 and his wife Ann Jane.
I have his wifes name listed as Ann Jane Coltman - but I know someone who said that her surname should read Linnett, do you know which surname is correct.I also need to know when and where they married.
