My grandfather, Frank Lee Doughty is the grand son of Major Robertson Doughty and Catherine (Kitty or Kettie) F. Johnson. and great-grand son of Thomas Jeptha Dowty and Margaret "Peggy" Colony

Ames 18 DEC 1833 in Accomack Co., Va., daughter of William Ames and ??????. She was born BY 1833, and died BY 1840. He married Susan R. Dowty 22 JUN 1840 in (Bond mrac-87), Accomack Co., Va.. She was born BY 1840, and died BY 1854. He married Catherine (Kitty or Kettie) F. Johnson, daughter of Richard Johnson and Polly B. Bloxom. She was born C. 1820, and died 31 MAR 1875.

She was born 12 SEP 1812, and died 5 DEC 1840. He married Margaret Sarah Thomas Johnson 12 DEC 1842 in (mlbm-28), Northampton Co., Va., daughter of Thomas Johnson and Frances "Fanny" L. Wescoat. She was born 11 JUL 1822, and died 28 OCT 1911.
