Seek information on Reubin Doughty, born c1745 ; died c1720 perhaps Cocke Co Tn. Need parents, siblings,
and spouse. ISSUE:
--i. William Doughty, born about 1765. First appears Loudoun Co Va Tax List 1787 w/Reubin Doughty.
-ii. Benjamin Doughty, born Apr 25, 1769; d. Cocke Co TN. Makes first appearance on Loudoun Co.Va Tax List 1787.
+ Elizabeth Carroll Edwards. Issue: 5 sons; 3 daughters.
-iii. Reubin Doughty, Jr. b. c1772 [makes appearance on Tax List 1788]
-iv. James Doughty. born about 1778. Was in Fauquier Co Va by 1801
--v. Robert Doughty. born about 1780 [best guess; d. 1745 Wilson Tn. Resided Loudoun, Frederick, Fauquier Va.; and
Wilson County, Tn. Ch: Matilda m. 1. John Wheeler 2. John Coonrod; 2.Lucinda; 3.William; 4.Lorenzo D. Doughty.
May have had sons James A. Doughty and John L. Doughty.
-vi. George Doughty, b. 1782 prob Loudoun Co Va; d. 1846 Davidson Co Tn; buried Nashville City Cemetery. + Helen Foley.
Issue: Jos. A. 1811-1850; Bushrod T. 1814-1854, m. Martha Jane Tindall; Townsend 1816-1875; William B.F. 1823-1850.
All children born Fauquier Co Va; died Nashville, Davidson Co. Tn.
