Hi, my mother's family of Dougherty/Doherty (in Malin Head) are all from Malin Head, Ardmalin. There is a genealogy headquarters that is only Dohertys (all spellings) that has been moved from Inch Island to Buncrana. We just attended a five year reunion in June/July 2000. There are many Dohertys in Malin Head. Do you know the nickname of your family, i.e. my family is the "paddy mores". My great-grandfather would be Dan "Paddy More" Dougherty, left Malin Head in 1873 to go to Delaware to work for the Dupont Powder Mills. Maybe you are related? Kathi
