Devon, Your Dougherty family information is very interesting. My second great grandfather, Thomas Sloane Hudson Dougherty, his son Ernest, and Ernest's son Thomas
Dougherty all lived in Creston, Iowa not far from Coin. Ernest had a daughter Dora who married Adelbert Bayles. Their son Ralph Bayles is buried in Elmwood.( Dora
was struck and killed by lightening on the family farm west of Cromwell, Iowa. She was bringing in the horses to the barn when she was struck.)
T.S.H. and his wife Isabelle Barr, Ernest and his wife Minnie Mae Naile are all buried in the Cromwell Cemetery as are Dora and Adelbert.

Matthew and Susan had 13 children according to one account I found. However, I can only find 12. I am checking with the Juniata Historical Society to see if I can find Matthew's parents.
