My great Grandfather was M.D. Dougherty (a.k.a. Matthew David, Matthias Day) he was a son of Matthew & Susan (Minary) DOUGHERTY

Aside from my Great Grandfather, I can list only one other sibling in his family (others are not known):

The following is information about my great great grandparents M.D. & Mary (Burns) Dougherty and their descendants:

DOUGHERTY, M. D. (a.k.a. Matthew David, Matthias Day)
Born: Jan 7, 1846, Juniata County, Pennsylvania
Died: Aug 30, 1913, Buried in the "Elmwood" Cemetery, South of Coin, Iowa., where a headstone marks his grave.

At the age of 20 years in 1866, Location (Unknown to me) he married the 20 year old Miss MARY BURNS; 12 Children.
(per his Obit) (d/o John C. BURNS & Mother: Sarah (Unknown)
b. 06 Feb. 1846, McAlisterville, Juniata Co., PA.
d. 25 Aug. 1885, a39y, 6m 19d; Coin, Page Co., IA.
Buried in the "Elmwood" Cemetery, Section III, Row 4, Lot 10; Where a headstone marks her grave. [Section 6, Row 4, Lot 10]
It is believed she died giving birth to her infant son.
They had at least 11 Children born to this Union:
