I have just posted a message earlier today looking for a
George Dougherty who was from Philadelphia and had a son
William F. This George, my great-great grandfather also
came to Philadelphia in the 1700's, also married a Mary
nee McMenamin. Geez oh, I hope I don't have your George's
naturalization papers. It really doesn'y matter unless
your George was naturalized in 1798-1802 and was a subject
of the United Kingdom and Ireland. Hope you get to read
this since this is a very old thread.
