I do not have a Barnard Doughtery in my family tree. However, I've only gone back as far as my gg-grandfather, James, shown in the 1910 pa. census. He was born in 1841.
Where is Jersey Shore located? There may be a connection, I don't know if any other relatives came over from Ireland with James. I am trying to find that out. Sue
