Bill, I am new to this, too. I am looking for information on my great-grandfather, Bernard Dougherty, who married Margaret ----? I believe they immigrated from Donegal, Ireland to the United States in 1892. They lived in Philadelphia, PA. They had four or five children, one of whom was Mary, my maternal grandmother. The other children were Michael, Tillie, Joseph, and possibly Hugh, who died in childhood. (This information is from my mother, who wasn't sure about Hugh. I wonder about the possible connection with Hugh Glen, cousin of Bernard's child Mary, who died in childhood. Your information says "unconfirmed", or perhaps my mother may have the information a little mixed up.)

What are your sources of information about Bernard Dougherty? I appreciate any help you can offer.
