Thanks for your reply re the Douch's of Sussex, i would agree with you that the Richard Douch mentioned in your father's "documentation" is from the family i have just started to research. I think it highly there would have been 2 men called Richard Douch who both married girls called Lucy (March) Marchant, who then both went on to name their ist dau Naomi, the only difference i have regarding info for Naomi is that i have her born in 1803 and you have her born in 1802.
If you have any more info that you are willing to share i would love to hear from you.
