Is this Brees in Muscatine, Iowa?

I know someone who is looking for the CRANE name in Butler county, Ohio. One of the hints that she gave me was for a Brees that lived in Muscatine, Iowa.

I have a 1927 obit of a CRANE relative who floated down the Ohio river to Muscatine and then across Iowa. Her CRANE name traces back to the DOTY's of Butler county, Ohio.

I have also found an account of DOTY's (also) floating down the Ohio river, stopping at Muscatine and heading north to Linn county, Iowa.

I have sent your post on this to the person who is looking for the BREES name in Muscatine. I would have written to you directly but your name is "hidden."
