Doe anyone know if
Col Thomas Doty,Canton, Massachusetts' owner of Doty's Tavern was the Thomas Doty that was a Colonel in the French and Indian war, and led A Massachusetts Regiment specificailly in 1758 at Ticonderoga and Fort Frontenec?
My ancestor Captain James Andrews was a Captain under Col Doty. Any help would be appreciated about Col Doty. Thank You, James Andrews
