I am looking for info re: Elijah Doty and spouse Mary Gay. Elijah was supposedly killed by Indians while on a surveying trip in Ohio. I particularily want to find out if Elijah and Mary Gay were from Sharon, CT, and he the son of Dr. David Doty and Hannah Southard. The Doty-Doten book is in error on much of this.
