Wow, many of the names/places in this conversation are very similar to ones I'm researching. I was looking for some info on Wilman Tilman Ridge that married Caledonia Jenkins in east Texas in 1880.
Caledonia's family came from Morgan County Alabama (her father Jonathan Medford moved from there to Texas); Jonathan's maternal grand-father was neighbors to Lewis/Greenberry Jenkins there in Morgan County. Greenberry was born in 1810 in Pendleton District South Carolina.
So much similarity, I'm hoping there is a connection that can be made -- anything there ringing a bell?
