One child you're missing is Catherine, the youngest. She was born 1857. Index to Pitts Co. Marriage Book 2, 1861-1900, see p. 91
Catharine (Kathy) Doss married George W. Smith on Feb. 14, 1878. George was born on Dec. 4, 1849, died Aug. 20, 1912. Both he and Catharine are buried at Hat Creek.

Copied from Pitts Marriage Bk 2: Catherine W., age 22 and J.W. Smith, 30, a widower; his parents Wm. and Martha Smith; her father listed (Philip V.) but not her mother.

I believe the other unknown child was the first born, a boy (?) who may not have been named. I have him listed as a boy, b. 1836, but have no proof that this is right.
