My GGrandfather was Joel A.DOSS b.1-8-1824,d.12-3-1900 who married Rachel Mays. I think Joel was from Pittsylvania County,VA and moved to Patrick County,VA. His son William Booker DOSS married Lura Agusta TAYLOR, and they made their home in Stokes County, NC. I am trying to learn who Joel's ancesters were. Could Joel A. DOSS be related to your family?? Any help you could give me will be greatly appreciated. I have William Booker DOSS's children and grandchildren and will be glad to share. Thanks
